Feature Writers: Phoebe Fico & Deirdre Sinnott 

Phoebe Fico is a recent graduate of Boston College. She writes about race, gender, sexuality and disability in her poetry.

Deirdre Sinnott will be reading from her upcoming novel The Third Mrs. Galway. Set in 1835 Utica, NY a young bride finds two people hiding on her husband’s property. They are running away from slavery and she must push aside her prejudices and fears in order to help them while Utica convulses in an anti-abolition riot. Based on actual historical events.
