Thurs 6/29 LuLu Lolo & Christie Barron Read at Women’s & Trans’ Poetry Jam – Bluestockings

Women’s & Trans’ Poetry Jam & Open Mike for  Women & Trans’

Thursday June 29th  7pm – 9pm

Feature Writers: LuLu LoLo & Christie Barron

LuLu LoLo has written and performed eight one-person plays Off-Broadway that evolve from her passion for historical research and social justice, especially as pertaining to the dramatic struggle of women in New York City’s past. Her recent project “Where are the Women?” highlights the lack of public monuments honoring women in New York City.

Christie Barron writes from a place of raw honesty, as if there is any other way, about being a human. Her writing is just one platform she plays with an attempt to explore the tenderness we all share in being imperfectly perfect.
